I did not want this book to be over, but I needed it to be over emotionally. This was rough, but so important. I did not expect to be so wrecked over and over. I feel so connected to these girls, and wanted to shout and fight for them when they could not. Fuck. Read this okay? Really, and the audio book has the perfect narrator who made it so excruciating, as it should be. Please please, take time to know these girls, their lives, and what it means to be a girl growing up in this time and place.
