Plain Truth by Jodi Picoult

2.0

Okay, I am going to rate this book harshly and I by all means have the right to rate it any way I want. You should not take my personal rating as truth, or make a final decission on it. Read the book for yourself, it may read diffrently for you then it has for me. With that said, if you look at my reading history you will see that I love Amish tales, this was the second Amish book I have read not written from a Christan Author. I think that makes a huge diffrence. I have come to enjoy the journey of picoults work but I didn't care too much for this book. It has the same up and down in emotions of topic's of our court system, Amish life , love, and murder. I did not like the way the Amish people in book were made to look but that may because I have a diffrent view of them as a people, religion and culture from all the other books I have read. Does it end the way I thought it would, absolutly not but that is why I read Picoult books, they are a journey and in that aspect the book was fine.
