For a debut novel, the writing was stellar. The story flowed so well and the interwoven race element was so good, but the ending was kind of confusing. The audiobook was great. After I finished the audiobook, I went to the library to get the actual book to see if reading the last few chapters would help with the confusion. It helped a little. Overall, a solid sci-fi horror.
