I liked this as much as the other two books. I’ve always liked Elle as a character. She was always really prickly with good reason, but she’s different from the previous books, more likely to open her heart to other people and help them.

I wasn’t wild about the actual plot, although the revelations we got were really good.

The magical system is one of my favorite things about the series. And this is a good addition to the dark academia genre.
