3.5 stars // this was a fun start to this series! the ‘twist’ ending didn’t take me by surprise very much as that was my suspicion from the beginning of the book. however, i liked that it didn’t pretend like it was all that shocking, it felt more like a plot development than an intentional twist which i appreciated. i think the story will get better as the series continues, definitely plan on reading the next one!
