Oddly unself-aware for what’s supposed to be an introspective memoir. I couldn’t get over feeling that this never would have been published without the proximity to fame and it made me uncomfortable enough to stop reading halfway through. Perhaps it was for that reason but I also never connected with her grief - wondering what I missed.
