The Superior Spider-Man Vol. 6: Goblin Nation by Dan Slott, Christos Gage

4.0

The Climax of the Superior Spider-man story, full out war starts with the Green Goblin. Otto's efforts and schemes begin to crumble, and his need to analyze everything before making choices begins to cause him to fail to act quickly enough.

There are some real gems of interaction here, such as the jabs between Osborn and Otto about each other's technology. The story arc with Jay Jameson comes to a satisfying conclusion. And naturally we see the return of Peter Parker, which is done in a way that does justice to the Superior Spider-man story.

There were a few small complaints I had, such as the very lame final showdown with the Green Goblin. Superior Spider-man's romantic relationship is not concluded once Peter Parker takes over, so we don't really see what happens there either.

I would have loved to read Peter Parker's reactions to the changes in his life (having a PHD, a company, ect.) and we don't quite get that.

Still a fantastic end to the storyline well worth a read.
