I was going to rate this book four stars, but this is one of those a stories I know will stick with me my whole life. It was told to me on TikTok as a dark academia book, which it is but left out the long list a trigger warnings that should have been mentioned. If you are an ally to the Black Lives Matter movement, read this. I don’t know if I can fully explain how this book impacted me. The writing is amazing, incredible for a debut at 22 years old. I listed to the audio and read the physical copy. This has to be one of the best ya thriller books I have read.
