A History of Wild Places by Shea Ernshaw

5.0

I honestly enjoyed the book a lot. The mystery within a mystery within the question of what we consider a life is fascinating. The choices we make to escape the real work, and why? I think this novel really encapsulates the desire humans have for escape from the hustle and bustle of the world moving- a peaceful life but with the harsh reality that in order to close off from the modern world- we have to sacrifice and shed a lot of things that we’ve come to depend on. Overall though this was a pretty crazy mystery/thriller.
