Crooner = 3.5/5
Come rain or come shine = 3.75/5
Malvern hills = 4.25/5
Nocturne = 3.75/5
Cellists = 3/5
Ishiguro is a funny little man! This collection isn't one to leave me feeling inspired or positive in any particular way, but I seriously can appreciate the genius of his writing because he is awesome and i love him. The way he harnesses music and fame and contrasting fame/reality to represent humanity is so beautiful and interesting. These stories are absurd and perfectly human, reflecting the neutral and negative parts, but also the covered beauty of how art (specifically music) can bring people together. great collection!!
