Switch-Hitter

I liked part of the premise of this, but I still didn’t fully buy why Thierry hit Pietro and why Pietro had zero applicants, or why he hired and then fell for Thierry. They fell in love with each other rather quickly and were quick to say it wasn’t because of looks, but in the beginning, what else was there? I could see Thierry having feelings for Pietro from before, because he knew him (though I still think it was weird the whole lying about cheating and then hitting him angle), but Pietro says he really knew nothing about Thierry, he was just a silent presence, until he punched him.
I also thought it was contrived for unnecessary drama to have Herve return and try so hard to mess with them. It just didn’t make sense to me. He really didn’t have more pride than to be kicked out of everywhere he went? He went to the point of moving back to Colorado? It was just weird. And both Pietro and Thierry being “bad guys” before seemed weird too. Actually, apparently James was one too (though I liked his quote about that). I’m not saying people can’t grow to be better, but the fact that the 2 MC’s, James and Herve were all “bad,” and 3 out of 4 of them grew to be redeemable seems a little far fetched.
