beau deserved a better book. truly.
the age gap didn’t bother me until he brought it up continuously. this man had an obsession with how young she is and was equally as obsessed with her virginity. it read uncomfy.
the PTSD was handled poorly - but it pushed this idea in my head that my GOD is this couple co-dependent. i loved Beau in the first 4 books as a side-character and was so excited for this book, and was so let down. i literally ended up not liking Beau much, and these two are easily my least favorite couple. and BEAU. DESERVED. BETTER. elsie silver fumbled the fucking bag because Beau should’ve been a top-tier man.
