The Girl's Guide to Hunting and Fishing is a coming-of-age story about Jane Rosenthal's journey of finding herself and love. I appreciated the light writing and sarcastic one-liners, but I didn't really understand how it was all strung together? It felt like the first half of the book was really slow and the second half quickly became more interesting with so much happening. I was also confused by the random change in voices? There were a few chapters that weren't in Jane's voice and it was very unexpected. Some involved her and others didn't, so I didn't really understand why those were included. An entertaining story, nonetheless.
