This is a really hard book for me to write a review for. I adored the first three-quarters. I loved seeing anxiety discussed and I loved the authors note about why this book was so personal. I also appreciated that the book touched on the after effects of trauma. What I didn’t love was how one particular part of the book that resulted from trauma felt kind of shoe horned into the book. It almost felt like it was just a plot device and that rubbed me the wrong way.
