Did not finish book. Stopped at 9%.
Bobby Hall is not a writer, and whoever edited this book is also not an editor. The character of Flynn is shallow and his thoughts aren’t an honest internal dialogue, they are just bizarre one-sided conversations that come across as juvenile and tasteless. I had a skim of the rest of the book and I’m glad I didn’t continue because the description of women gave me the ick and even with the interesting concept, the execution had me rolling my eyes almost immediately. Also, Hall breaks the “fourth wall” quite a lot but only to share some really questionable and ableist opinions that Flynn then rants on about for pages. Sad I brought this, might keep only because the cover design is really nice.
