Sleep No More by Jayne Ann Krentz

This book was the perfect combination of mystery, action, romance, and suspense! I think adding in a paranormal aspect to the story worked really well, and Krentz did a fabulous job at incorporating those special abilities in a way that felt natural, while leaving enough questions to make me crave the next book.
Pallas and Ambrose, the two main characters, both have paranormal abilities, as well as both having experienced an episode of memory loss that is a little too much of a coincidence. Together, they prove to be quite the pair, and I loved to see both the mystery and the romance unfold at they work together. I did feel that the attraction was a bit forced at times, but that didn't significantly affect my enjoyment of the story.
All in all, I enjoyed this book and am so excited to see where the story leads in book 2. I'm hoping we learn more about the other two women from the Lost Night Files podcast and I would love to see more information about how the paranormal abilities work.
If you're a fan of true crime podcasts and thrillers, I think this will be the perfect romance for you.
Thank you, Berkley Romance, for the free book.
