I was unaware that this was the second volume of Lord Baltimore's adventures hunting the vampire Haigus, but it wasn't really necessary to read the first one to get the gist of whats going on. The story is bloody and some gore, but it's not really scary, more like the old Universal monster movies of the 30s and 40s.
