This was the Twinkie of books.
I wanted brain candy and I got it. A very short story about a burly mountain man and his dead best friend’s curvy daughter. It’s feel good and light fare, nothing substantial here. Very short and insta-lusty but it works if you just want to turn your brain off for an hour.
I would have liked this to be longer and for the author to actually write their time together rather throwing in time jumps, because we had a lot of tell but no show. This author should buckle down and write a full length book one day. Come on Kate, I dare you!
