Nimona by ND Stevenson was such a joy to read. I mean, what’s not to love? It’s got magic, knights, arch-nemeses (arch-nemesi??), swords, science, evil government, a shapeshifter and a whole lot of heart. 

I will say that I watched the Netflix adaptation first, and I admit that I actually kinda liked it better than the graphic novel 🙈 - don’t get me wrong, the book is mighty-freaking-good, I loved everything about it.. BUT.. the movie, in my opinion, had a better overarching plot. Still a very easy 5 stars to the book nonetheless!
