Forging Silver into Stars by Brigid Kemmerer

5.0

I’m crying. I loved every second of this book and never wanted it to end. I never read the Cursebreakers series but that’s my next course of action while I wait for the next book.

I absolutely adore how one of the main characters is disabled but isn’t infantilised because of it. In fact he’s shown to be incredibly capable and strong just like all the other characters.

I honestly loved every single character. They feel real and human rather than perfect fantasy characters. I loved seeing how Tycho, Jax, and Callyn thought throughout the whole book. I loved their relationships with each other and seeing how they grew together. I felt like the relationship between Tycho and Jax was realistic and decently paced as well which was really nice.

I would recommend this to anyone who loves fantasy and wants a realistic (mlm) romance. I really liked that it didn’t feel like it was romance centralised either.
