Alright, my bookish babes, I'm presenting to you today a new dark academia romance for all of ya'll to DEVOUR because this book was literally AMAZING!! I'm such a sucker for an enemies to lovers/hate to love trope book, and honestly, this one absolutely DID NOT DISSAPOINT 😩😩 the vibes this book put out 👀👀 the pining and angst. The tension between Alex and Ophelia (which I might add was so hot it was causing the Kindle to lag 🤭) the “Like me until five. Then we can go back to before.” (LITERALLY FREAKING SWOON) THE EMAILS AND THE CROSSWORD PUZZLE HINTS!!! Like OMG ACTUALLY SWOON!!! *insert pterodactyl screeches of bookish joy*
Along with the ROMANCE, this book had so much suspense, mystery, and plot tension (not cause by the couple) that I was practically on the edge of my seat/bed while reading. Some of the main plot points in this book had my HEART PUMPING, like jolt up from bed "I need to pace my bedroom while reading heart pumping" 😂😂
ALSO!! My fabulous amazing talented author, can we discuss thar ENDING?!?!? LIKE WHAAAAAAT!!! Talk about going out with a plot twist BANG!!! 💥💥 My brain was REELING emotional support french fries were required!!!
Honestly, bookish babes, this book was simply amazing. Autumn Woods did not disappoint, and I'm fairly certain that you all will ADORE this book 🤎🤎
