Reacher has jumped the shark
This series has been heading downhill for me. This book takes the cake. Reacher has changed, not evolved, but changed into a violent, thuggish guy who really isn't concerned about either aspect; at least his author isn't. This book is mean and in many ways lazy. The characters are stereotypes and written without much regard for how that reads. The plot has holes and fills them with unnecessary violence as a clear disdain for intelligence.
