Intriguing but lacklustre.
I feel the concepts and folklore were the shining stars of the novel. I think it should have been longer, and adult novel with adult characters and expanded on certain aspects.
The pacing felt off.
Over all you I liked the concept, the mythos, the fucked up nature. It just didn’t work for me in the way I wanted.
