Rocket Boys by Homer Hickam
5.0

Over all i really enjoyed this book! It was a cool way to learn about the town that was built just for a coal mine. It was really interesting to see how this small town functioned based of off the coal mine. I liked seeing the kids building rockets and progressively getting better/ more successful at building rockets. They start by failing miserably to designing almost perfect rockets. The kids end up winning the national science fair gold metal for their study of rockets.

I enjoyed reading this book because it was entertaining and inspirational. It gave lots of good detail and cool stories to keep the reader enticed. It was inspirational to see how these kids came from nothing.
