A Wrinkle in Time: The Graphic Novel
by Madeleine L'Engle
This took me a long time to read...it never held my interest for very long, but I was determined to finish it. I really enjoyed the original novel, and since I enjoy graphic novels, thought it would be a win-win situation...alas, I was wrong.
The text of the adaptation was fine, it was the illustrations that threw me off. The blue/black/white only ended up getting to me after awhile. My eyes ached for another color. Why the cover shows otherwise is a mystery to me. I guess, I'm just not a fan of Larson's work...apparently, from other reviews, she has a fan-base, but it's just not my style.
