This book I got it during bookcon 2019. I met the author and everything. She signed it and only now am I finishing.
It was an interesting read, either the concept of death, life and the complexity of grief. The pacing made sense at certain points but others I was lost. Having lost a family member that I wasn’t really close to and seeing my mom grieve was close to home. You got to meet interesting characters each with their own backstory and how it comes to end. Though as someone who has religious trauma I didn’t really care for the heaven bits and god. But that’s not why it wasn’t a five star read. It’s just not my kind of thing but I did enjoy it. So yeah glad it’s done.
