The ABC Murders by Agatha Christie
4.0

Maybe 3.5 stars, not 4. But, I enjoyed it.

I have read Poirot in the past, but it has been a while so it's apt for me to consider this as my 2nd read in his series. And a pattern is already popping out - the characteristic traits of both Poirot and Hastings and how they influence the plot or the progression. Could be annoying for some, especially Hastings' but not much of a bump.

For me, the most enjoyable parts, that didn't unfold till the very end, were the red herrings. Christie gave us structure and then simplified the motives. I liked that. There were some seemingly loose ends and one or two details at the end which seemed forced or unnecessary.

Good, fun, and a quick read.
