Constantine: The Hellblazer, Volume 2: The Art of the Deal by Ming Doyle, James Tynion IV

4.0

Why do all John Constaine stories have to be depressing in one way or another? Well, I guess this is why I love these stories: they're entertaining and dark at the same time. I'm sad this series was over so quickly, I would've loved to see more of this version of John Constantine. Admittedly, I was a little thrown off by the changing art styles in this second volume, but they're still enjoyable. In the end, John Constantine remains a fun, but deeply depressed man we all (apparently) love to see succeed as much as fail.
