Okay, so I did not know what to expect when I started this, or more accurately I was expecting something other than what we got. I knew this was a book that starts off with a young black baby sitter being accused of kidnapping by some rich white lady and a security guard at a fancy grocery store. What I did NOT expect was to get a LOT of perspectives from the white people in her life and how all those things tied together after the incident.

It was an interesting perspective and I like what was done with it. I think the exploration was done well. Part of me wanted more/different in the end and another part of me appreciates how it was handled.
