Meh. I guess I am in the camp where I didn't care for the characters. The darker fairy and more mature themes didn't necessarily turn me off. I just didn't connect with the characters like I did with The Cruel Prince in Holly's other series. Very quick read with some excellent epitaphs beginning each chapter.
