So.. unpopular opinion. This was way longer than it needed to be. Listening to the audiobook was confusing because there were no chapter titles stating whose POV we were in, and there was no clear distinction between the two voices, so it just felt like it was one long and drawn out perspective. Maybe I should have physically read this, but I like Slaughter's Will Trent series more, so I think I'll stick to that. Be mindful of trigger warnings and know going in that this book is DARK.
