Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline
5.0
Okay, so honestly I am currently Mindfucked.
I guessed the ending before it happened but then I got a little plot twist near the end and I am still trying to process it.
This book I completely didn’t like in the start. I dreaded reading it but we had to for a class assignment. So I continued reading.
Honestly I felt like the longer I read and went on with the story the better it starting becoming and the more the characters grew especially molly.
*slight spoilers like character*
I did not like Molly’s love interest. I felt like that really wasn’t needed in the book, and he was just kind of a low key overprotective asshole.
I also don’t like the ending and I like the ending at the same time. Like I’m happy it ended this way. But like I’m still wondering what comes next, what happens?
And I also don’t certain part of it because I just feel like “okay who would really get away with that.”
But honestly I give this 5 stars because the character development is amazing.
Vivian story is absolutely a tear jerker and made it hard to continue reading with how well The orphan train back then, and adoption system today aren’t so much different. (Just connections you will make)
I am Super happy I finished this book!
