Extraordinary Means by Robyn Schneider

Too many ‘quirky’ stereotypes. Maybe I’m too old for this kind of book now but I was fed up of hearing how ‘tall and floppy haired’ Lane was, and I don’t recall much description beyond that.
They recklessly often venture into the local town potentially spreading a contagious and potentially life threatening disease to everyone they meet... do I need to explain why this frustrated me?
The death of their friend Charlie seemed so meaningless I don’t even know why it was put in the book, the ‘almost breakup’ of Lane and Sadie seemed to be much more focused on and cared about, even though their friend had literally just died.
It was fast paced with a plot that had potential and an easy read which is why I gave it 1.5
