The Underground Library

I thoroughly enjoyed this read! The story was charming, and I found myself genuinely rooting for the characters to achieve a happy ending. However, it’s important to note that this is very much a “sweet ending” book, which might not resonate with everyone. Given that the narrative is set against the backdrop of Nazi Germany, one might expect a more somber conclusion.
The tone and style of the writing felt more akin to a young adult novel, yet I still found it engaging and worthwhile. Overall, I would rate this book 3.5 stars, rounded up to 4.
