I utterly enjoyed this book. It has a bit more of a consistent story than the first book, and this does mean there's a bit less of the entertaining randomness, but there's still plenty of weird humour and bizarrely some touching moments. The plot is a bit more formulaic, being a standard virus/zombie outbreak thing, but no one tells stories quite like David Wong/Jason Pargin. Not a dull moment and bodily fluids splattered all over.
