The C Agreement by R.L. Kenderson

5.0

Rayne, the female lead, has been told she’s bad in bed by her recent ex-boyfriend. Cade, the male lead, is a manwhore, whose best friend, her brother, just bet that he can’t go a month having sex with just one woman. Rayne offers to be that woman so she can get lessons from him whilst he still gets regular satisfaction with no expectations. But now they’re both wondering whether they can keep to no commitments, especially since their kinks are so well aligned…

This story is dual POV, well written and edited, and a fun, erotic contemporary romance. I enjoyed the discussions of real issues that people actually have to deal with, especially Rayne’s issues as a large woman. I enjoyed Cade’s vocal and physical enjoyment of Rayne and his constant encouragement of her. I enjoyed their intimate play and their exploration of their relationship and the depth it could acquire. I enjoyed the secondary characters and the integration of both biological family and family of choice. This writing team is one of my favourites, mostly because each story is genuine, with real emotional engagement, as well as a healthy sexual component - just like life should be.
