Everybody knows Daisy Jones and the Six. From the moment Daisy walked barefoot on to the stage at the Whisky, she and the band were a sensation. Their sound defined an era. Their albums were on every turntable. They played sold-out arenas from coast to coast. Then, on 12 July 1979, it all came crashing down. They were lovers, friends, brothers. But they were also rivals. This is the story of their legendary rise and irrevocable fall. A story of ambition, desire, heartbreak and music. Everyone was there. Everyone remembers it differently. Nobody knew why they split. Until now...

This was my first TJR book ever and I was definitely not disappointed!! It’s so far from what I normally read which I thought was really refreshing. It was told in the style of an interview with a lot of structure to it, it looked like a script. It flowed so beautifully and naturally and I adored it!! I was slightly nervous to pick this up because I know how many people love it and hype it up as well as hype of TJR but for me personally, it definitely lived up to the hype! I adored all the characters and couldn’t put it down! Billy and Daisy were such beautiful characters that were beautifully written, I cannot imagine them being any different! I cannot wait for the show on Prime and I really hope that the series does it justice because this really was a stunning book!! I cannot wait to read more from Reid!!!
