I am not sure why so many people rated this book well because honestly, it was a hard read. I stuck with it because of the high ratings but I wanted to stop so many times through. If you are mentally we’ll maybe you can find this book decent but if you have any bit of depression, I suggest not reading this book because it really put me in a negative mental state.

i just feel like with her “getting better” after a year of drugging herself to sleep and using meds to black out for 3 days at a time for a year (and intensively for 6 months) is a very dangerous message.
