T Kingfisher writes a banger of a horror story, what can I say. This novella, much like the first, will make sure you never look at mushrooms the same way again. Highly recommend for anyone who likes a horror story that will make you go “…I don’t THINK that’s how mushrooms/algae/fish/whatever work, but I would need a degree to prove it.”
