An amazing start to another amazing series, that's for sure. I'm not prepared to reach the last page, but thankfully this series was already completed and I can jump to the next book immediately.
I really like the world-building, the characters, and the whole premise. It's my first time reading a Peter Pan retelling and I'm digging it. I was a bit lost with the places, though. A map would be extremely helpful, although I haven't searched yet if the author did put up a map or something. Perhaps there's one on the next book?
Other than that, the pacing was pretty decent. The interactions and scenes were interesting and will hook you in. There were times that I'm confused about the direction of the story but I'm happy enough to go along with the ride.

If you're into:
- High fantasy
- Peter Pan Retelling
- Multiple 3rd person POV
- MM
(Explicit, with established relationships)
- MMCs with unique physcial descriptions
(Without spoiling too much, we have shifters here, various fantasy races, and the author didn't shy away from putting out-of-this-world physical traits on some of the characters)
Then you'll definitely like this! Just a heads up that this is on the same world with the Chronicles of Blood and Madness series. You may read the FMC talking about a certain Mal and you might be slightly confused. Mal is the FMC on the aforementioned series, which was written and completed first before Chronicles of Red. You don't have to necessarily read it first, though.
Anyway, overall, I really liked this book! Highly recommended.
