A Wolf at the Table by Augusten Burroughs
3.0
Interesting account of Burroughs' father, mostly pre-"Running with Scissors". If you're looking for a comedic memoir, this isn't it, but I think it was a better read than most others on this site thought, apparently. He did an excellent job of making his dad feel dangerous and looming, and if you're a pet lover like me, be prepared to be squeamish. Read this while my own wonderful father was in the hospital, making me appreciate him all the more.
