The twins want to return to their childhood cabin in the winter season to reminisce their childhood memories before the cabin is sold out. They are accompanied by their friends.
But during the winter season, the wild creatures are active & killing the tourists.
Ryan, Jane, Sawyer, Lauren& April are haunted by the same creatures. There is no room for escape plans because the creatures are not giving them any time, they are attacking mercilessly.
In the end, when Ryan & Jane finally thinks that maybe they are safe now, they come out again.
The book is a wild read, the horror aspects were terrifying, and I loved the bleak ending. Of course, the characters were stupid & they made idiot decisions but that's what people do in horror stories. No common sense, just impulsive decisions.
