owww this was just what i needed. i absolutely LOVE how old people are the focus and have fleshed out personalities in this book. how they still have their fire, even if its been dormant for a while. the main character was a bit unlikable at first, but by the end i was really rooting for her. a peaceful book that deals with serious themes of loneliness and loss, and makes one rethink the art of gardening.
