I listened to the trilogy on audiobook while commuting to school. These are outstanding!
The author reads them, and he admits he doesn't do women's voices well. At all. He's right. I also laughed at him giving the female scientist a foreign accent while she's explaining how she was born and raised in the US, but people still think her "exotic".
