Hood Feminism: Notes from the Women That a Movement Forgot by Mikki Kendall

challenging informative medium-paced

4.5

Kendall has a talent for very direct writing, and she succeeds at something I think a lot of authors don't, which is balancing data with personal anecdotes. The chapters were also short and very readable, which I appreciated as someone who was reading little bits at a time.
