We love a nostalgia buddy read! These books have the exact same energy as a trashy CW show and they are honestly sleeping on how they could adapt them... just saying. It's not too late, give the people what they want.

Not to flex but I yet again flew through this in a very short amount of time and I'm still lowkey shocked at how fast they are. There are QUITE a few lines that are so cringy so I'm trying not to think about them right now. I'm still entertained and I'm not mad about it and revisiting this series is hilarious. I'm 1000% sure that if this book were written today I would hate it but this is a book from its time and we all have to accept that we were trash for vampire romances in 2008.

I feel like this is where things already start getting spicy because Rose seriously has like, 3+ dudes wanting her while she goes on and on about how hot and badass she is. My favorite weird part is when she accidentally jumps into Lissa's mind while she gets freaky with her boyfriend and then Rose gets mad at Lissa for that?? Then of course Rose has to remind us that she doesn't want to have sex with Lissa and I'm just?? Why not tho. I can't be the only one thinking how extra that would be right? No one??? Cowards.

Quick shout out to Adrian who I've loved since I first read this series and wow look at that, I still love my messy ass boy. He's lowkey problematic but every time he speaks I'm just ??? I love you???
