This was ridiculously great, I have to say. I read it in less than 2 days. Shannon Messenger is one of those grossly under-appreciated authors, I'm a afraid, and her other series, Sky Fall, is just as good. This is such a good start to a series, and I'm a bit befuddled to see this is a Middle Grade book, because it's so very mature.
