I did not enjoy this book. It had a decent start with the banter and vengeance. However the attempt at spice and relationships felt so forced. I don’t typically think too deeply on books but it stuck out so blatantly. They just meet and then all of the sudden he’s mentioning how she’d sound screaming her name. I’m also not opposed to insta love occasionally but this was just plopped in a random spot in the book. For being under 400 pages, I was not a fan of the random people that would join for 3 chapters and then leave the book. There were no stakes or development so it lacked payoff.
