I wanted to like this book more than I did.
It is the story of Padme after she steps down from being Queen. I wanted more... just more. This book felt to me like an amalgamation of ideas but the story never really manifested for me. I know this was a YA book but that doesn't mean there couldn't have been more intrigue, more store... just more.
Not sure if I will move on to book 2, which I understand is her story before becoming Queen.
