I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway.

This book wasn't for me. I almost DNF-ed it several times. I found the main character to be irritating throughout much of the beginning of the story, hence why I almost DNF-ed it. The book isn't long but it is such a slow read it felt like it just dragged along, also why I almost DNF-ed it. I had to force myself to keep reading it. I never felt myself really invested in the story.

When Mr. Hawkins was introduced the story picked up slightly but it was still very repetitive and I wasn't really into the whole vibe of *everything* miraculously working out.
